Hi from Viv the blond of the two women staying at Uncle George Apartments, Crete. (Heather the brunette). Think you may be home and dry now. Hope all went well for you. Will now go on your blog to check that out. Cheers and rest easy on your laurels.

I discovered your blog a few days ago and am enjoying it very much. I hope to bicycle in Central Europe next summer and am enjoying traveling vicariously with you in the mean time.

Hello Jim and Sandra it was great to meet you on my - what turned out to be the last day of cycling/camping. It was very enjoyable to meet you and think, that you are very brave to cycle for a whole year. My plans were to take the train to Linz and then cycle back to Passau. However, it rained and somehow - after 1200 km of touring, my knees aching and rain continuing that day- I felt deflated, so I headed back home. I am now back in the land of the settled - in fact I am cleaning out my tent today. I wish you all the Best, good health and many exciting experiences on the way. Take care- Lydia
